Behind The Scenes

Cranford, NJ's own local band ShineBox, was formed on impulse after a few too many drinks down at the Jersey Shore by several rock star wannabe’s. With the 2018 Cranford Porchfest on the horizon, ShineBox applied for entry and surprisingly was selected to perform. With just a few weeks practice and little to no prior experience, ShineBox was able to transform the infamous “Thursday Night Cabana” into their practice venue and pull off a memorable (at least for themselves) 45- minute set. ShineBox has since had the privilege to play at several charity events for great friends and even had the good fortune to step foot on the famous “Crossroads” stage in Garwood, NJ. Although they are not sure if they will ever be allowed back there, Shinebox is looking forward to drinking beers together and “Rocking On” in 2019.
